DIGITAL AND SOCIAL CAMPAIGN
“Shareable” has become a default request on most every brief. We created a new way to address this overused expression. The answer wasn’t asking people to share more, rather a clever proposition in the opposite direction. We asked them to flag their friends for oversharing in social media and in the process created a ton of buzz for a very shareable product.
The global first for Facebook, a plug-in with unique functionality, essentially let users tell their friends that while sharing Pringles was good, oversharing their lives was not. A site integrated with online banners, digital outdoor media, and even print ads carried the message well beyond users’ feeds. It caught on so well that our client actually got what every client is after — a newsworthy way to cut through the clutter of other social campaigns.
